This isn’t stamped metal — it’s laser‑etched acrylic plastic with a mirror‑chrome laminate surface that looks like polished steel. The black engraving cuts deep into the reflective finish, creating a bold, high‑contrast design that lights up under stage rigs and studio lamps.

This 13‑hole pickguard is cut to fit Fender Standard model P‑Bass guitars with 2 control pots and an output jack. Other makes or model years may require slight mounting modifications for proper fit.

Material: Acrylic plastic with mirror‑chrome laminate (not actual metal)

Thickness: 2.4 mm — about the same as the PVC guards that come stock on most Fenders

Flexibility: Acrylic is a little softer and more flexible than PVC, which makes it easier to work with but also more prone to light scratching

Surface behavior: Mirror‑chrome finish shows fingerprints and smudges quickly — but wipes clean in seconds with a microfiber cloth

Scratches: Expect possible very light surface scratching in mirrored areas. This material is softer than standard PVC, and when beveling the edges of this pickguard VERY light scratching is often unavoidable.

The slight flexibility helps with fitting and is by design. If you're used to stiff rigid PVC factory guards, this will feel different. That's the point.
