Description
This is an art print of an original painting which was painted as a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan with his Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar, “Number One”, also nicknamed “First Wife”. The guitar was given to him by the owner of Ray Henning’s Heart of Texas music shop in Austin, Texas in 1973 and was his main performing instrument and companion. Vaughan used the guitar on all five of his studio albums and on Family Style. Vaughan created such amazing music with this instrument, I felt it needed to be honored in paint, and I wanted it to be in such a way that anyone would be proud to show it off in their music room, mancave, den, livingroom, bar, or anywhere else you can think of.
My prints are fantastic conversation makers and make a great gift for family and friends. They look great on their own or stunning in a group. I offer plenty of size options to fit your needs.
