This is an art print of an original painting which was painted as a tribute to Neil Young, displaying his favorite guitar, a modified 1952 Gibson Les Paul he lovingly calls “Old Black”. The story goes, he was given the guitar in 1968 by Jimmy Messina while in Buffalo Springfield. Neil Young has written and talked about how much he loves the sound it produces so much. The background of this painting is done up like the album cover of Harvest. Neil is one of the most well-known and respected musicians reflected in the longevity in the industry and the creativity of his work. I felt he (through his favorite guitar) needed to be honored in paint, and I wanted it to be in such a way that anyone would be proud to show it off in their music room, mancave, den, livingroom, bar, or anywhere else you can think of.
My prints are fantastic conversation makers and make a great gift for family and friends. They look great on their own or stunning in a group. I offer plenty of size options to fit your needs.
